I spent some time looking at that site a while ago, and it's complete garbage. IMO, of course...
Like Consumer Reports, they claim to use scientific methods in their evaluations, but their over-the-top editorializing, their poorly constructed graphs (who makes a graph where the x-axis and y-axis start at something other than zero, unless there's an agenda...) and their nonsensical emphasis on infinitesimally small differences, like a whole dollar worth of annual electrical cost, make for a complete waste of time on part of the site visitor.
They rated some GE machine a "10" and the Speed Queen Imperial a "2.8". Completely indefensible nonsense, and not worth the electricity consumed by their staff posting their dreck, the electricity wasted by their web hosting service, much less the electricity wasted by people unlucky enough to land at their site hoping to gather useful information.
The only thing I can say positive about them is the site is free, but as anyone north of 3rd grade knows, you get what you pay for.
