It was suggested in my other post that I put this here for more eyes (sorry for double post)...

Hi,
First post but I found this forum helpful when looking into issues with my dishwasher and so thought I would try to repay the favor. I have replaced my KitchenAid / Hobart KDI-18 dishwasher (24", white).
The unit was not draining properly so I investigated and found the drain pump impeller was broken. I bought the new part (with the help of some old threads on this forum) and replaced it. It seemed to drain properly after that but when I ran the dishwasher water started pouring out of the corners of the door, seemingly like it was filling up past the waterproof tub level. Maybe it's simple, maybe it is more complicated to fix but I gave up and bought a new dishwasher.
So free if you want it to repair it or use it for parts.
I'm in Kingston NY. Contact me through the Craigslist ad email if you'd like me to hold it for you (it is currently on the curb for the roving metal scrappers to take it)

Well Adam, maybe you don't have access to Shoppers Square.   You have to scroll all the way down on the "create a new thread" page and select "Items you are selling yourself . . ."

If you don't see that option (it may only be available to upgraded members), then this forum -- Imperial, appropriately enough -- is the next best place for your listing.  Good luck and I hope your machine will find a new home with someone here.  The 18 series is a favorite among vintage KitchenAid fans.
