I bought a home with a non-working Youngstown Kitchen Electric Dishwasher model # B48D. I planned to sell it for scrap and then found this site. Would anyone be interested in this appliance for scrap pieces or the motor (free)?

Oh my, yes! I specifically need the pump and racks if they are present. Please look for an email from me (check your spam folder just in case...)

Yes the giant SUCK

lol! I think we should send a committee up north to investigate what CR is doing up there, I"ll contact the UN Dept. for Incursions of foreign appliance Raiding, and get us some investigative traction. I think the ONLY Canadian machine he's got is that Dominion! We'll be checking labels Deer- when we arrive!

PS Eddie you keep those prune bushes blooming I'm on my way!!------With Cash Dollars too!

No need for State Department intervention...

I still meet the 'Canadian Content' rules for my collection... Here's the tally - in addition to the last Dominion, I have the 53 Westy Laundromat and Dryer, the 63 Frigidaire Deluxe washer, the 66 Inglis Sterling washer and dryer (one of this summer's 'rebuild' projects), the 68 Viking Dishwasher, the 72 Viking Dishwasher, the 71 Westinghouse dishwasher, the 64 GE cooktop, and the 62 Frigidaire Imperial Cycla-Matic refrigerator - they were all made in Canada! A couple of iffy items are the 58 Frigidaire Dishwasher (made in the USA but with CSA approval stickers all over it) and the 57 GE Washer (shows a different model number to it's US Cousin, but was make in Appliance Park in Louisville).

Don't let hubby get wind of this - he's been pushing for an all-Canadian collection that would mean a drastic reduction in the US models I have... LOL
