Craigslist San Francisco - There is a free Frigidaire harvest gold 1-18 washer that has been advertised for several weeks with no takers. It's either a 1977 or 1978 model WC with a window on the lid. Ad mentioned that the previous tenant was still using the machine. Location of washer is in Oakland.

Wow, Oakland. I'm right next door to that. Unfortunately, I have no need for a another washer. But I'm sure somebody does.

Last of the 1/18's
I believe this is a WC-6G Crown model from 1979. The color is not shaded, the lint filter appears to be the basket-type, not a bed-of-nails, and the water level switch has the level indicator label showing the JetCone agitator. I couldn't find this label on any earlier models. They show this same machine in a catalogue dated 8/78.

our is almost identical but for the blue load level grapic on the 2nd to R most knob.
