Might Frigidaire have stopped using the little failure-prone defrost heater component by the time this box was produced? I know there have been a number of reports here over the years of frozen-over bottom freezers due to this type of failure. It's the chief reason I haven't ever considered a vintage BF Frigidaire.
That one looks to be 1968.
