I just bought a Frigidaire Flair stove it is so Cool it`s a 40" large model with the double ovens .The large oven does not work and the oven indicator light for that oven does not light .does anybody know much about these could it have a burned out element Or is it a BAD Switch i would really appreciate any help thanks john

i have a 40 " flair myself

that i just bought and had one years ago in my old house. i am also about to buy another one here in cinti.

you can download a manual on that stove from a website on flair stoves. don't have the name of the website right now but will get it and post it here later.

i would bet it's not a burnt out element. could be a loose connection somewhere. if you tinker around with electric i would suggest getting a test lite and start tinkering! could also be a bad oven control switch. i hear parts are still out there and know someone who has frigidaire parts for sale.

i'm sure there are others here too who can help you with this beautiful old stove! they are the best in my book! love em!

will get that website for you

Make the oven time control is set for manual. After using it on automatic timer you have to manually turn it back to manual setting. It could have been diddled with while it was for sale.

Well, you could unplug/disconnect the unit and then remove the heating element to check for continuity. If good, then check the contacts for voltage when powered on (be VERY careful doing this). You'll need a multimeter and know how to use it safely.
