Frigielectric washer issue

I have a General Electric branded stackable washer/dryer. I believe it is sourced from Frigidaire. WPXH2140AOWW

 

When I put the timer on cottons, it fills. and then does nothing. I can manually advance the timer, and get it to spin. If I put it on Quick Wash, it operates normally. Timer issue?

Frigidaire built GE front load washer

Hi Kenny, that is indeed built by Frigidaire very popular machine. It’s either a timer or maybe more likely the motor board on that machine. The motor board controls the timer advance during parts of the cycle with that machine.

I probably have a timer for it and a motor board used parts if you send me a picture of the back of the timer, I can check, if it’s something you really want to fix.

Thanks, John, haven't torn into it yet, or checked the dryer. It only seems to work on quick wash. Then it's perfect!
