Hi the tyre came off the water pump in my w3590. I broke the bracket where it fixes to the main motor trying to ease the pulley off of the water pump. Can anyone help me with a full pump assembly to replace it ?

thanks Alex

The w3590 is as far as I know (I am new to this) The last version of a single tub washing machine which Hoover produced at Merthyr in Wales I think they stopped making them about 1992. It is essential the same as the other single tub washers except it does have a power wringer, I think by the stage people would have been buying the machine spinner. The pump is an early model and I believe it was also used in the early Hoovermatic twin tubs. Essentially the pump is mechanical and it runs off the motor which drives the agitator as it has a thick rubber tyre which lies against the motor drive. There is a good example of one working on Youtube if you type into YT w3590

best wishes Alex
