my camera resets itself all the time, about 6 years off, I wouldn't trust the date on a picture. He may have snapped that shot yesterday

Well, I failed on that one...since, duh...I have plenty of photos that I mis-dated because I was too lazy to set the date. Thanks- good point.

Mine sets the data automatically
Even when haven't had the digital camera out in a while time/day and date are correct. With my new phone having a built in camera find it easier to go for it than look for the digital camera.
Just could be the guy took the picture back in 2008 and either didn't get around to posting until now, or has been trying to unload the thing for some time.
That particular listing has been on CL for at least a few months.
Market for those Hitachi made GE/Hotpoint branded impeller washers is limited. More so when you consider the deal is local rather than on eBay. Yea you can look it up on CL but unless you are in PA, NJ, NY, DE or some other close states are you really going to travel to get it?
