The GainLaundry.com Web site is kind of sticky to navigate around in. Provided I found this specific Gain oddball flavor instead of one of the other oddball scents...

*as mentioned on the Gain Web site:*

Mandarin Lime Fusion: “This new squeezable scent will make everyone get a little closer. Hope you’re not shy!” Why watch a soap opera when you can wash and wear this crazy stuff!? By the way, since I do not watch any TV soaps, first heard this particular Gain Mandarin Lime Fusion ad, a couple of days ago, during an early morning episode of "America This Morning," from ABC News. Therefore, if this Gain Mandarin Lime Fusion stuff has been around for awhile, I just happen to catch that commercial.--Laundry Shark

The stuff smells awful. I have a ziploc bag of it in my laundry collection. I am going to leave it in the community laundry room tomrrow.. Ughh.. I'd rather smell dog poo... It doesn't give me a headache..

Gain Outdoor Sunshine

I prefer the Gain Outdoor Sunshine, which, if it has not been changed again, has a scent similar to that of the former Bold 3.--Laundry Shark

What I'm Wondering...

Are people worried about combinations of scents in their laundry products, since each and every one now has to have some distinctive flower-dy or fruit salad fragance?

I can see it now. Agonies over whether to use the Continental Coconut softener or the Lovely Lavender kind with the Mango Chutney detergent. Bewilderment over whether it's better to combine Ylang-Ylang ironing water with Blueberry Muffin dryer sheets, or just stick with Gaga Over Gardenias detergent with no additives at all? Or should you go for baroque, and mix Maraschino Madness liquid detergent, La-La Lime softener, Civet 'n Citrus all-fabric bleach, Moonlight and Magnolia starch, and Primrose Path ironing water?

And what, oh what perfume or cologne should you wear with all that?

It's enough to make me want to outlaw everything but Ivory Soap and Original Tide. Sheesh.

I thought that when they got rid of the people who smoke back in the 80's the people who have fragrance would be next. I remember there was a movement to eliminate fragrances from public places. I guess the pendulum has swung the other way!

I mean, all we ever wanted was clothes that smell clean.
