How many of us are members of the Garden Web "Laundry" forum? I see some familiar names, like DaDoEs, but was just curious about who also keeps up with the goings on over at that other forum? It's all about new washers and dryers, service headaches,how to repair, which mfgr. is better than others, etc.

I used to frequent THS under the handle Spambdamn. But when iVillage took over, they banned that name (perhaps because it has "damn" in it?) and I switched to Sudsmaster (same as here). But then I pretty much lost interest in that forum - seems like the same questions/discussions over and over, and some pretty awful misinformation as well.

They seem to be very anti-TL over there also. It seems there are those who have to get the latest and greatest solely for snob appeal. Whatever floats your boat i guess.

I started posting there before our first Yahoo group started and stayed visiting that site for a long time, but lost interest in the end. I agree with Rich, same questions over and over again.

I used to be over there, but at least one of the other posters is patronizing and condescending and think they know it all. I'm not sure if that person might be over here so I guess now is time I find out! Besides people here are more spontaneous and fun!
