Same here. I want to study and replicate the control system and those console lights. I love them. And the programmed push-buttons. I'm imagining something like this on a modern iteration of the WP DD or Maytag DC.

Ideal Washer

I am envisioning a residential version of that machine. Push button water level, push button fabric care, colored lighted cycle indicators, pre-wash and pre-soak cycles. Dual action agitator, white porcelain on steal tub, scratch resistant porcelain top.

Water temps are as follows- White Cottons is hot/warm ; Colored Cottons is warm/warm ; Whites Press Care is hot/cold ; Colors Press Care is warm/cold ; Delicates is cold/cold ;  Knits is cold/warm.

I am still debating on what to call the knits cycle, if that.

Lights are as follows. On-In use colored orange is parallel to the timer motor circuit. Timer motor runs, On - In use lights up. Cycle complete colored red illuminates when timer switch 02-M drops open from timer contact 02-T and falls into cycle complete lamp contact 02-B at the end of the last minute of the cycle. Filling or soaking colored pink lights up when the machine is either filling or in a soak period. Wash colored blue lights up when the machine is agitating in either the pre-wash, soak or main wash periods of the cycle. Rinsing lamp colored green lights up at the start of the first spin after wash and continues to do so when spray rinsing or agitating in a deep rinse. The rinsing light acts as a demarcation point between wash agitation and everything thereafter. Spinning lamp colored yellow illuminates at the start of spin after the deep rinse or after the last spray rinse is complete.

Ok, so after looking at hundreds of pictures and videos I think I found something that comes close. Its missing one light though, but its a good start:

I like that it offers what appear to be warm rinses. Machine I think is being run on 50Hz hence the slower speed and longer run time.
