filter flo flume position

that is right-early ones had the flume at "12 o-clock",around
the early '60s(?)it changed to around"1:30"position
 
Pretty much. The first two generations of the new perforated wash-basket V-12's, which were 1961 models and heralded the change to a shallower cabinet depth, had their flumes in the 12:00 position. Later that year the flumes were moved to the side where they remained for more than 30 years.

Yes the Filter flo nozzle was in the front until the end of the 1961 line.

And moved to the front 7 o'clock position in the coin-op machines. They were built with the motor/pump in the front and the entire front panel was removable for easier service access when you had a row of them together.
