Realizing that gas dryers are rarely of interest to people today...but this looks clean. My mom had a gas Hotpoint dryer. The pilot light would go out now and then due to the wind coming through from outside...and as a kid, I remember blowing up the house several times...no, that's wrong...I mean lighting it. We kept it until my dad made more money to buy a new washer/dryer set in the middle 1960's. Ok, this is an ad, I know.

This one was built in August 1989. My opinion is gas dryers are great. I use both but prefer gas. I don’t like gas dryers with pilot lights though. There is a lot to be said for spark to light or hot surface ignition.
