GE Mini-Basket for WRINGERS!!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

wonder if.

Wonder if the this engineering guy stayed on till automatic times, This could of been his "pet" project. and a real GE trademark.alr2903

Very interesting. This is meant to replace the standard agitator rather than fit over the top of it as in the automatics, the really odd part of this is the snap-on lid and handles. If it is intended for washing delicates, why the secured lid? It looks as though it might be quite heavy when filled with water, I don't see a drain plug. Strange piece of GE history for sure!

mini basket for wringers

I think that the so-called "mini-basket" is a butter churning attachment.....Maytag made the churn attachment for their '30's machines, so why couldn't General Electric?

Just an opinion...not based on any factual information I have.

Yeah, I got the ebay "illegal to view in your country" message, presumably the same thing you get if someone in Holland advertises marijuana pipes or something:-).

Could you just post the item number so we can do the ol' copy-and-paste and find it manually?

I've seen the butter churn attachment for the Maytag's...and I think they even had a meat grinder that replaced the wringer! But the ads I have seen for GE wringers advertised this little tub as a way to wash "delicates."

I plugged in the item number and still got the "illegal items" message.

Hmm. Shall we try to guess why it's illegal..?

Maybe someone at Homeland Security confused this with a "centrifuge" used to process uranium into atomic-bomb material!:-)

Any other guesses?

Sellers have the option of a setting in E-Bay that prevents people in places where they don't ship to from seeing items. Doesn't refer to actual "Illegality" of an item. It's a way of screening buyers.
