When my late grandparents lived in a townhome in Ankeny, IA. for almost 20 years, they had this dishwasher. I know it was a GE Potscrubber (a lot of the appliances were GE's except for the 1994 Whirlpool Thin Twin stackable washer and dryer, although that was replaced by a GE Spacemaker stackable washer/dryer made by Whirlpool in 2008); however, I can't tell for sure whether it was a 1320 or some other number. I like how it worked non-stop. It's not my favorite dishwasher of all time, but it comes really close. Anyway, here's the dishwasher I'm talking about. If anyone is familiar with this dishwasher, feel free to reply. Thanks in advance.

GE dishwashers sold between the early 80s and before the mid 90s were among some of the longest lasting dishwashers ever made. And those with the back filter and orbital wash arm were also among the best cleaning. GE at one point was serious about having respectable dishwashers and they succeeded in that goal. Unfortunately greed took over and that was the end of it. So much so that by the late 2000s landlords were actually turning to Frigidaire and Whirlpool because even they couldn't tolerate GE selling them appliances that weren't worth even a quarter of the asking price.

Interesting information. I think this dishwasher was manufactured in late 1993 or early 1994 when that particular townhome unit was first built. I had some pictures of this dishwasher on my old flip phone before it broke in half quite some time ago. Now I have no way to get those pictures back. One of which might have the actual number next to the Potscrubber emblem on the dishwasher.
