GE profle dishwasher serviced, now louder

I serviced the inlet valve on my 2010 GE profile poly tub DW, and now the wash pump is louder. It washes godd still, just a mild pulsing groan until the main wash as I guess the water is hotter? After it quiets down.
It's not an outside vibration because I don't hear it in the basement underneath it.
The inlet hose isn't against the motor or frame.

I caught the tub inlet water line valve leaking just in time. The machine was off.
I replaced it with a Genuine GE part. The spray arms look ok. The sound is like a machine that hasn't filled completely, but it does. I can hear water splashing like crazy inside and against the door, and tub top.
This is only about a 54 or 57 DB rated machine, but it was quieter. It's old, I know. If we get another year or so from it, it was worth the $30 part.
We only use it once or twice weekly. Probably why it's still going.

Not filling with enough water!

I have to add 2 glasses for the pre wash, and main wash, then it's fine usually.
A bother, but only once or twice weekly do we use it.
GE must have either reduced the inlet valve volume for their latest design, or the new supply hose I put on isn't allowing enough water pressure.
The new inlet valve I bought from GE direct replaced the former part number. They look the same, but one is blue, one yellow.

Is it possible there is a restrictor

In the new inlet valve? Maybe you can remove it and see if that helps?

won't it flood then? It shuts off the water when full or not in use.

It should not flood

The restrictor reduces the incoming water pressure if your water pressure is low you may need to remove the restrictor and it should fill quicker and with more water.

Restrictor removal

This is what I recommend as well if the water level is low. However, make sure your float switch is working correctly as well. That would be an easier fix. The float switch will stop the machine from overflowing when you remove the fill restrictor.
