From the text of the listing, I got the impression that someone just bought a house and this was still hooked up in it.

Barry, it's been around for well over a year now.  It's been tempting, too, 'cause it's in my driving range...  I was sure that Mike(dishwashercrazy) from Illinois bought this!

The POD is a Hotpoint, which I think is preferable to the GE. I'm surprised GE stuck with the top-loading design until around 1960, while Hotpoint had front-opening machines in the 30's.
