Just placed a bid on her

Yay, that one is close to me, 1:30 hr drive. I just bid on her. YAY

You can tell that some really LARGE Hugh Jass loads have been dried in it by the toasty stains left on the back of the drum where things might have packed the drum as they dried and forced some unfortunate items against the heat inlet part of the drum. Soft Scrub or a regular cleanser with light scrubbing pressure will remove the stains. Don't get the cloth too wet because then the cleanser will run out through the holes to an area where you can't rinse it without removing the drum and it would smell funny when heated. Of course, at its age, it probably should be taken apart and reconditioned anyway. This is one of the models shown in the pictures that nice young artist from the cold north shared with us a while back.

Bought it

Yay i got her!! So does anyone out there have a matching washer that they want to get rid of? :)

It's a "W" series which, along with the black-on-chrome control panel, means it's from the 1962 model line. Because of the white dial (should be black) and the weird advertised model number, it could be a leftover model sold in 1963. This is extremely close to the DA-620X (pictured below). Congratulations! I'm green with envy. We owned the next level up washer and matching dryer; when we sold our house, 17 years later they were still working perfectly. I have a friend whose mother still uses this dryer to this day; her father switched the rollers on the drum supports once to keep it going.
