Wow!  Looks like one of the first (1955) models judging by the sink doors.

Cadet blue?  If so, someone did a heck of a good job matching the KA dishwasher panels to the GE finish!

What goes around

. . . comes around, as in that Cadet Blue shade, which is popular again in modern kitchen makeovers.

Personally, I prefer the clean look of later GE handle-free cabinets with spring-loaded doors.

BTW, how can that exhaust fan have ever been effective way up there?  If it had been used regularly (and I don't think it was), the cabinets below it would have accumulated a greasy film.

Oddly enough, a ceiling-mounted exhaust fan like the one in the picture was seen in a few vintage kitchen designs in the mid- to late- fifties.  The 'explanation' was that hot cooking fumes would naturally rise and the fan would do an effective job.  I guess it was a good approach where a vent hood didn't fit (the GE Wonder Kitchen range was often the 24-inch style) or perhaps in an apartment installation where it was impossible to run a vent hood duct through a wall.
