Interesting configuration! No washer/dryer and only the 'high oven' option. I'd guess it's a 1957 version, but that guess is just based on the refrigerator's pink interior.
Wow, it's all still there - even the Nutone fan - so close to your fingers... 
I like the way they mounted the refrigerator at the same level as the upper cabinets, though that might be a bit too high for many people to reach the top shelves. I probably wouldn't have gone to the trouble of putting the tiny cabinets above it though.

Heck,at how nice of shape this is in-forget the new particlebaord-cardboard new crap!!!Keep using the GE-just clean it up-for the most part good to go!It would be sad to see this kitchen outfit go to the scrapper!
I don't think I've ever seen one of these in plain white.

The neat thing about these GE kitchens is that you never see two that look alike.
They came in every GE color of the time including white, but I would guess that 90% chose a color, they were built from 1955-60, probably only half had the Combo, some did not even have the wall refrigerator and you could have any amount of wall and base cabinets.
These were nice looking kitchens, but mixing it with these wood cabinets just does not work, I would hate to see it but I am sure that somewhere someone has installed granite counter tops in a GE kitchen, LOL.

John, come on up to Ogden and check out how I put the GE Kitchen Centre together with wood cabinets. It works for me!!

Speaking of GE wonder kitchens, Paul just made me waffles in the Ogden kitchen. Well he did use a Sunbeam waffle iron....
Davey, I don't think so, too high end. My aunts lev home did have the fan in the same place though and a Bendix combo washer
I don't know about Levittown, but definately not in Lustrons, as production of those homes was between 1948 & 1950. The Lustron house I saw at the Ohio Historical Center this past summer had a Thor Automagic dishwasher/clothes washer sink in the kitchen. I think the GE Wonder Kitchen was introduced circa 1955.

Levittown featured Bendix FL washers included in the original cape code design in 1947.
As an aside, in my area, there are quite a few houses here that feature design elements, including a FL washer right in the kitchen!

Actually, these Wonder Kitchens were installed in some of the Levittown homes. Price for the home was $17,500 and the 9-1/2 foot kitchen was included "at no extra cost".
