Generic GE Filter-Flo question

Folks---I had a one-minute look today at an 80's or 90's GE washer, full-size, 2 speed, with the rear-opening door with the front clipped corners, and at about the one o'clock position on the tub it had about an inch and a quarter flume/spout. Far left side of the console has 4 horizontal toggles, center has 2 different small knobs, then the main dial on the right. Is it automatically a Filter-Flo? There was not a filter pan inside, the washer is in someone's extremely messy basement, who nows if there is any pan for it.
I'd hate to bug a friend with a truck to head back over there tomorrow and then find out it's some standard machine, not a filter-Flo. IT seems to me that someone here mentioned ALL full-size GE with those clipped corners on the lids, rear opening, are all Filter-Flo's?

also, porcelain tub, not plastic. Does that help date it and identify? Far fewer rows of holes than my Maytag, but it is a perforated porcelain tub. I had only one quick minute to look

If the lid is shaped like this, and the flume is in the "one o clock" position......THATS A FILTER FLO!....grab it, you can find a pan later...

We want to see pics too!....someone here may have a pan for you....we will worry about that later, you can still use it without it, when you get there, look around for it, it may be hidden, also look for the dispenser and the minibasket, you never know

Since we're asking generic Filter-Flo questions, is this Hotpoint pictured also a Filter-Flo? It's got the lid with the angled corners, but I don't know what it looks like inside. Any idea what year it might be?

Yes this is a 1977 model - we had the same exact model! Real nice machine.
I liked the filter ring better than the filter flo.

How does a filter ring differ from a filter flo? TIA

Yes it had the extra rinse option. The filter ring goes around the rim of the tub as opposed to having a filter pan on top of the adjator. It was self cleaning but from time to time we cleaned it ourselfs.

the hotpoint rim flo has a circular trough around the top of the washtub
that is screened on the bottom-instead of lint-laden water going to the
filter flume and filter flo pan,it is fed into that trough-lint strained out
is spun off into the outer tub when washer spins,so "rim flo"is self cleaning
"marathon"speed queens,at least up through 1984,have almost the exact same
arrangement.

Model WWA8350VALAD, Ser #RA163700G, a website say 1977 or 1989 or 2001, I am guessing 1989 model? Some pro here can verify

for all the mess on top, the underside has NO RUST, very few spider webs, no leaks. So while no one wiped the top off in ages, other than that, it was a clean, drip free, dry basement installation.

I have the main filter pan, no fabric dispenser or mini-basket. Frankly, the mini basket doesn't exactly interest me greatly. If one shows up online, fine, but I will soon begin the meaningful search for the fabric dispenser.

That's the exact washer my mom got between fall 1977and spring 1978.  Mine was the model right above it with the speed combinations and extra rinse.
