Series?

I haven't looked at the number, but I am confident it was the first year without the constant rinse.  I'll unload it tomorrow but there's so much going on with my folks and the last 48 hours of the interior completion it won't get installed until Wednesday.

A Superba by Checker!  Who knew?

Lovely Machine

Stodgy, old fashioned, sluggish over drive etc.  The Town Car has been built on the same platform for the past 20 years.  Each year there are more refinements.  As you all know I was a Lincoln zealot but on the advice of the doctor bought an SUV which is easier to load in and out and better for my back.  One year with an SRX and $8,000 in repairs it was time to pull the plug.  I bought this car with 82,000 miles from the original owner.  I have had it a year and a half and it now has 136,000 and the only repairs have been front brakes and a tune up.  It gets a steady 23 MPG and I am a lead foot.  Based on past history I expect at least 300,000.  It has never used or spilled a drop of any fluid or lubricant.  I feel badly that its been used like a truck this winter hauling stuff for the remodel, but it cleans up nice and took six adults , our luggage and food for 5 days to Cannon Beach and back last week for a total of 772 miles.

Kelly I still miss my Lincolon it was just like yours green and same top. I had 325,000 on mine it was a 1993 model and drove it and was never tiring to drive or ride in just like sitting in good easy chair at home. From 1996 to 2003 I was driving it every weekend to my parents home 6 hours away to hel take care of my dad that mother refused to put in assisted living or nursing home. These lincolon's are to me the best car ever.
