Yes,

it is located in Bel Air on Saltaire avenue. Betty White lives?, lived close by on Carmelina ave. She may have moved to assisted senior living. Some properties on that street have been sibdivided into small lots with condos. Bea Aurthur not far either. Estelle Ghetty lived in an apartment or condo on Holywood blvd. near Gardner. Rue McClanahan lived near Toluca Lake.

Who would ever had guessed that was behind a relatively conventional exterior it really has stood the test of time if it has not been altered, although I would question if the colour of the kitchen cabinets was original. Small quibble though

There is another picture of the kitchen there. It looks like there is some kind of cooktop there. The empty spot would be for a refrigerator then.

I love that kitchen including the colour.

Having had a closer look, it looks like there are a fridge and a stove missing. In the picture I posted there is a gap too.

No, the inside scenes were filmed in a studio I assume.

Maybe Yes maybe No, the kitchen is in great shape and someone may be buying the house partly because of the cool vintage kitchen.

Interior scenes were filmed at Sunset-Gower Studios (former Columbia Pictures) the first two years, then at Rem-Mar Studios for the remaining years.

The kitchen cabinets look more lime green than avocado on my screen. It's hard to say if that and the turquoise are original, but those were popular colors in the mid 50's. When we moved into the house in '57, the former owners had the living room painted chartreuse and charcoal gray. The bathroom was Ming Green fixtures, maroon and black tile, and the upper walls painted cerise. My parents had the painter busy for several days, as they had far different tastes in color and style than the Spence's.

Guess I'm confussed

I was at Universal Studio in March 1995; the tour guide took us by the Golden Girls house and their neighbor ( don't remember the name but they had the dog named Dyfus). The house was only a front held up by 2x4's as was the next door neighbors.

That's definitely the house.

For 3M, that house would have to be in a quiet area 20 miles away from any type of industry, include at least 25 acres of lush, easily accessible quality land with a year around creek, full water rights, and no neighbors within a circumference of at least one mile.

As I understand from various articles online, this property was used for exteriors during the first season.  A replica set was built elsewhere for the second season and later.  All the interiors were always sets on a soundstage, although some of the design was inspired by the real house.

This house, located half-way between San Francisco and San Jose in San Carlos (certainly not an area to get excited about) is on the market for 3 million dollars. 2,600 sq ft. </span>
