Great Value Dishwasher Detergent

I recently noticed it was reformulated, and was wondering if anyone caught on, or noticed the same?

 

Pre-Phosphate Ban, the Manufacturer was Korex Corp, and then Wal-Mart switched the supplier to Sun Products... but, most recently, I noticed that the consistency has changed. And... I do believe Korex is the new supplier. 

 

It doesn't have as many blue specks as before.. and, the granules are a much different consistency, almost, thicker, or bigger. I think the scent has also changed, but I'm not quite too sure on that.

 

I think the current (different) product works great, but, wanted to ask fellow members what they thought. Have any of you noticed a change in performance, better or worse? It seems to do a pretty good job for me... although, almost anything will work with my water conditions. 

 

 

So.. anyone notice anything?

Great Value

I have been using it for a number of years with great results.
Have not noticed any difference.

I have hard water and Great Value Gel cleans everything fine. Its cheaper and works for me.

Never tried it, but looking on walmart's customer ratings you'll read so many comments from pissed consumers for the powder.....stating it was changed and that now is fundamentally crap...
Not sure if it has something to do with STPP ban, many comments are recent but you find also 4 -5 years old ones...but doubt it's because of that...I suppose Walmart mess with manufacturers companies or the companies mess with reformulations.
But never tried it personally....so, can't speak...
