Great washer and dryer set in H.Gold - $40 (14th & Superior)

Actually, I think that was a fairly common color so it's strange that they don't show up in Harvest Gold more often.  Those are a notch (or more) below the series of my mom's washer (it had rust instead of green on the cycle selector), and the literature for hers had a Harvest Gold machine pictured on the front.

The folks had this one, Pentavane and it was still a pull to stop, push to start machine. IIRC,  Gordon's  Mom had this machine as well from his posts.  These Kenmore's used approximately 52 gallons of water to wash and rinse, plus spray rinses. PP used even more.  They washed extremely well.

Hah! I've got that dryer in white. Gas--apparently has been in the house since it was new 40 years ago...has worked flawlessly for us for the last 8.

Rodrigo (Bestcleaningwasher) has or had this set in his collection. There are videos as well. Beautiful machines, and from the control layouts you can see the stage being set for the black paneled models that were to follow just one year later.
