HAIER 11 lb Capacity Agitator Automatic

After 4 years, I finally got around to disabling the lid-switch on my portable Haier XQJ50-31. It was touch'n-go for a few moments, and at one point I thought it was going to the curb, but somehow I managed to pull-it-off on my own, without my "LIDSWITCH" professional, Roger at my side. I only lost one screw in the dark abyss between the cabinet and the outer wash-tub! And I had NO PARTS leftover. See for yourself.

How do those little lint filter bags work? Does water recirculate through them? And it has an indexing tub, something close to my heart. Glad you were able to disable the safety switch.

Here in Brazil our washer follow the stile as the washers that u consider "compact" or "portable" there in USA. Including the compact models from Whirlpool and Kenmore are manufactured here as a normal model, not considered a small machine. A long time ago, we had models like the big USA washers, but in early 90's, it was left, when washers like this in the video begun being used...

If one has a dryer,a larger capacity machine make sense.

Without a dryer, (and/or plenty of drying space) smaller machines are probably more convenient.

Eugene,on some of the Haier's, water actually pumps through the lint filter-on others it's just the water passing through from the inner to outer tub, and the tub rotation. I have a 12-lb capacity, Haier-made AVANTI (my FAVORITE portable) which I'll make a video of this week. On it, the water is actually "pumped" through the lint filters with considerable force as you'll see. This is my 2nd Avanti--Laundry Fairy (Ross) has my other. (I think she secretly wants to start her OWN "Chairman Mao Collection"!)
