Friday I went to a pumpkin carving party, something friends have been doing each year for about 12 - 14 years now. It's actually a lot of fun! In the past they would have everyone vote on the scariest, most fun, most creative and the overall favorite. They would then give silly (but fun) little prizes. This time they did a wine tasting instead of prizes.

So did you carve any fun, scary or silly pumpkins this year?

Here are a couple I did........ first a robot. Yes it would stand on it's own.

Next.....

I saw this idea elsewhere but liked it so much I had to do this one too! I was very ambitious this year and actually did three pumpkins, but the third one was just so-so.

Yes what you see between the "bun" is real!

My oh my...

>what you see between the "bun" is real<

That's some slab o' meat. Brings new meaning to "where's the beef?".

Oh, I forgot-

We did Sponge Bob jack-o-lantern at work. I cheated and used a pattern, but the kids loved it and we sold out of pumpkins this year. I need a raise. LOL

Bump, because

I'm not quite ready to let this thread go.

Because I am already tired of all the stores, including my supermarket pushing Christmas already. What happened to Thanksgiving???????

Bump, because there are some cuties in this thread....and some good pumpkins, too!
