Does anyone have the instruction manual/recipe book for this Hamilton Beach Food Processor? It has a recipe for the best banana nut bread, and I used to make it all the time. My mother must have thrown the book out when it finally died.

I found a manual on eBay that has the recipe that I want! I'm going to bid on, but if I loose the seller has agreed to copy the recipe for me.

OMG I had the Kenmore version of that processor. The main weak point is the gearbox. If you process something heavy it will break the gears. Poorly designed to say the least. I replaced the gears twice and then chucked it and bought a Cuisinart. I still have it after all these years!

I found this link

I found this link at the Hamilton Beach website. Does it have your model in it?

(I had that exact one, and for some reason, got rid of it. Recently I found a really nice Cuisinart at Goodwill for ... drumroll... $5.99 )

Thanks Hunter, but I already tried, my model isn't listed :-( There's a manual on eBay starting at $0.99 and it has the recipe I want going try and win it.

A Cuisinart for $5.99 what a steal, I mean deal. Thanks Super, If I don't win it I will let you know.

I'LL KEEP WATCH

Do you want one? I'll keep watch and will buy another - I see them fairly frequently.

That, of course, and pyroceram..

Yes, I would :-)

I won the manual on eBay that has the recipe that I want, I will scan it and post it here once I receive the manual.

I finally have the recipe! I would scan and share it, but my computer died the other day, and I'm using my old POS computer, and the cd-rom isn't working so I can't install the software for the scanner. So I'm going to type it in a new thread.

I have that food processor

OMG! I have that processor and it just won't quit! So odd, our friend Lynda has the exact same machine and it died in a few years. We use the crap out of it and 20? 25? years later it still runs.
Maybe it knows there is an appliance expert in the house and is frightened to act up.
