Interesting Tidbit About The Smaller Domestic KA Mixers

At first KA's top brass didn't think housewives would go for the "smaller" KA mixer that was built upon the platform of the larger commercial/military units, so several KA executives took them home to their wives to "road test", the rest is history.

Many of those wives told their husbands the only way they would get that KA mixer back was to pry it out of their cold dead hands! Either that to duck a gauntlet of flying pots, pans and dishes.

So beloved are early KA mixers many a daughter complains to this day that their mothers won't let their KA mixers out of their sight. If DD wants to use it, she has to go over to her mother's house, the mixer stays put! *LOL*
