I am off to visit the relatives (no internet). I want to wish everyone a Happy and Safe holiday. I am very grateful for our AW.org community. arthur

Yay for a holiday for everyone!

Happy Hanukkah to our Jewish friends, Merry Christmas to our Christian friends, Happy Kwanzaa to our African American friends and a big yay for a Happy Winter Solstice to all of our Humanist and Non-Believer friends.

or another words,

Happy Holidays Everyone :-)

ps. If I missed a holiday please add it!

All the best to you all!

I'll be dropping off the radar as of tomorrow, but it's never too early to wish everyone here all the best for the Holidays! May they bring you joy, health, and happiness!!
And, as always, thank you to everyone just for being here to provide advice, techniques, suggestions, manuals, and share your knowledge with other members!
Happy Holidays!!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all as well. I'm off to the northcentral mountains for my annual get-away-from-everybody Christmas celebration. It's just my brother & I at the very rustic cabin we're members of. No electric (just propane lighting), no running h2o (spring out back), lousy outhouse and PEACE & QUIET! Food, burbon, beer & the radio. It doesn't get any better than that (although an actual shower would be kinda nice).

Joy to the World!

Happiest of holidays, everyone! May 2010 bring your dream machines, peace and joy. Not necessarily in that order.

A Big shout out from the low country of South Carolina

Please all be safe and have as much fun during these festive times with friends and family

To the entire AW.org group what ever your practice of peace is have a merry spirit

Merry Christmas
Philippe

hey I actually like to eat fruitcake.

And I make it too, so I'm a 'fruitcake source' as well as a 'fruitcake sink'

From Andy McCarthy:

Of the National Review, this funny bit of faux political correctness:

To All My Liberal Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or explicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
