Deerfield, IL is a pretty toni area outside Chicago, one would expect this kind of machine to be located there. Or at least an entry level Miele!

Was the 2800 not GE's first "electronic" dishwasher?  Very advanced, would even beep at you if the spray arm was blocked.

would love to have one of these and would look natural in my 1980's house haha...IL is just too far away and I heard the sensors can cause problems on these

Put that in our home to replace the builder one.  Was a great dishwasher and fairly quite.  That was GE at its's best to me.
