Hi, I've seen a few of these posts around, and need some help of my own. Belonged to my now deceased grandparents, and I'm trying to fix and keep what I can. Was a portable, but was then built in, making it difficult to find and reach the model number, hoping once I identify it I may be able to fix it. Looks similar to the K series, but the controls are decidedly different (and missing the on/off switch), but have waded through all the images and manuals I can find, but have found no trace of it. Not in the greatest of shape, but can certainly touch up the exterior. Thanks!

Thanks! It appears to be a KDI-14P. Really appreciate the info. I'm not the handiest, but I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

Alex,

If your grandparents lived on the peninsula, that machine could have benefited from a lifetime diet of Hetch Hetchy water.  Several years ago I picked up a nice early '90s ISE dishwasher (KitchenAid clone) in Belmont and it was like new inside.

If you're able, please post an interior shot of that sweet series 14 model.  It's the last series to have the big cast iron wash arm before Hobart switched to the four-way hydro-sweep type on the 15 series, which is still being used on modern KA dishwashers.
