But the person wasn't complaining about the washer, they were complaining about the delivery men. I'll make my own deliviries.
Jason--- You should check out the forum; there are quite a few complaints about the machines---mostly things like wrinkling/tangling, mildew odor and vibration problems. Other posters come to the machines' defense, but if I didn't know much about washers (yes, some people know less than I do, LOL) and I saw a list of complaints on a forum at the appliance maker's own site, I'd probably choose a different machine.
Madonnas2hot (from the above post) is one of the people who repeatedly comes to the Hetties' defense on the forum.
So you're planning to spring for the new Oasis, eh? If I had New Washer Fever, I have to admit I'd probably choose one, too. I'm a die-hard FL guy, but the Oasis is a cool machine with huge capacity, a fast spin speed and a BIG FREAKING WINDOW, so what's not to like?

Speaking of foreigners trying to function in North America....
Friend of mine is XXXXX-ian. Been here 20 years. He rents to foreigners. His tenants (and the landlord, I might add) had NO IDEA why I went off when I saw a roller tray and brush full of varnish [READ: highly flammable] resting *ON* (YES ON) the oil-burning boiler. It had apparently been there for days.
