Hey Stevet, What the hell is this Potwasher?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

A Stero by any other name

Yes, Nick, it is a rebadged Stero unit. Premark International purchased Stero years ago and Hobart rebadged the pot and pan washers to fill in the product line. Not an unusual occurence. They do the same with many Vulcan products just like Vulcan does with Wolf Range Products. They also badge the commercial bakery products as Baxter and Hobart but they are the same machines. Technology is shared to some extent and this makes the best, efficient use of resources and manufacturing.
What is most important to the end user is that they get a quality product with the best service force in the industry should the machine ever need service.

Thanks Steve

I figured that's what it was.
I knew that Hobart cooking equipment was Vulcan and their rotary rack ovens were Baxter.

I had never seen a Hobart Potwasher made by Stero before. Only the Hobart built AM-14F and UW-50 Perhaps it should not surprise me as I have seen FL slant door, rack type Stero Glasswashers branded as both Hobart and Ecolab.

I will wholeheartedly agree that Hobart and it's affiliated brands do build the best and the Hobart service guys like you are the best bar none. It's guys like you that keep us chefs up and running.
