It's like my 1961 turquoise Custom Imperial, but the model number ends in 63. This is the single oven, but still with the second dial for the Broiler Grill control. These ranges came with the Radiant Wall Broiler Pan which was always used at the same height or rack position in the oven. The Broiler Grill dial settings went from Rare which was the full wattage of the broiler down to Well Done. The lower settings modulated the input of the broiler and were also used for more delicate items like chicken and fish. This was the era of the Pull and Clean oven so with the top of the broiler pan up at the broil element, there was very little spattering onto the oven surfaces.
Greg, even my 1954 TOL Frigidaire range has the full width storage drawer. When the drawer was removed on the newer ranges, you could mop the floor underneath the range.
My range's Speed Heat and Heat Minder controls still work, but I always start out the Speed Heat on the lowest setting until I hear it click down from 240 volts to 120 volts because I do not want to subject the element and control to the major stresses involved in keeping 240 volts flowing through the circuit for the full minute which is what it does when started on High so that the element will turn red before going back to 120 volts. By doubling the voltage, the 1450 watt 120 volt surface unit is producing about 5800 watts when speed heating.
