A kind thank you to all who posted comments on my previous thread about my MAH7500AWW washer. After polishing the replacement cabinet and fine tuning the rest, I finally put her into service next to my MDE4000AYW dryer. Here's a picture of the happy couple. Happy laundering ahead!

Without a window, how do you tell if your clothing has been oversudsed and has been rinsed clean?

well the window would be nice, but I have rigged mine to run with the door open to see what happens, and with proper loading, cycle, and temp, I was putting in a whole cap of Liquid Tide (when HE's were not popular), and never over suds, and I had the luxury of a laundry tub to see the last rinse water ran clear, so all in all it uses plenty of needed water, rarely oversuds, and rinses clean, plus the high speed spin....I like my 5500 series, but I miss my first 3000 one with the whinning motor as it spins up to speed for the last spin, sounded like a jet taking off.....

To window or NOT to window? That is the question...

The windowed door actually came from a commercial Neptune dryer stack machine. It looks just like a Neptune Super Stack w/d combo but with a 2nd dryer where the washer should be with coin slides and controls between them. Happily, the commercial door is the same as the domestic one and retrofitted to my dryer well.

UNHAPPILY, there was never a windowed door for the MAH series Neptune washer either domestic or commercial. I have several extra door assys, and am slowly turning over ideas on installing a window. Hmmmm...

The main thing to get used to with the MAH7500 is that it gets slightly louder than my 4000 when it spins. My MAH4000 topped of at about 800-850 rpm where the MAH7500 winds up to 1000+ rpm. I really DO love the touchscreen controls but feel slightly guilty about booting my 4000 from the primary washer role. That washer really has been a trouble free Neptune and has processed a laundromat's worth of laundry for me...

Yogi, I really like that laundry set up!
