Hoover Logic Washer dryer 1250. A8576

Would not normally create a post for one of these but this is in the best condition I have seen for about 10 years.

The bearings have gone, but the machine is in great condition, would'nt take too much to replace them. The dryer has never been used and no rust at all underneath.

Going to be scrapped in two weeks.
Anyway if anyone is interested and lives in Kent, message me and take it away.

If I lived over there(in England) I would get that machine in a heart beat. I have never worked on, had, or used a washer/dryer combo machine before.

too far away

Hi Bertrum, thanks for showing this machine, I believe the `premier' range was the currys specials, they often had odd spin speeds for hoover. I have repaired 1050 and 1150 rpm machines in the past. I agree this is in great condition, I have a few logics in the collection, all part of the hoover history, but none as good as this. But living in Cardiff only 40 mins from Merthyr, I won't be going for this one, I hope someone does though.

If however you were to come across an `English Electric Liberator' I would both make the journey and pay you handsomely. But then so would many others lol. Keep up the good work on the modern machines, I repair them every now and then, but get anoyed at how they don't seem to last very long, and how they are so difficult to get into, hence I mainly try to keep the older one going for my customers.

Oh bloody hell!

As you say yourself Bertrum, its in superb condition visually and internally.

I am really really gutted that, like Mathew, I live way to far away to launch a rescue mission.

Before Mathew mentioned them to me, i had never seen or heard of the 'Premier' machines and this is a pristine example.

Please please one of the southern guys step in to keep it extant a bit longer!

fingers, indeed toes too, are crossed for its survival.

I know you run a business Bertrum, and tough decisions have to be taken, but you couldnt keep it yourself could you (if no one steps in). it is in such good nick!

thanks for offering the machine to the community - just hope someone is able to take it on.

regards
paul

Hi Seamus

YEY!! Thats great news.

Hopefully it is now to be saved...Congrats if you get it.
It's a lovely looking machine. Really like the colour scheme and nice to see a different name on them..eg "Premier".
