Hoover Single Tub Fill/Drain Hose

Hi all,

My Hoover 3102E's hose has a kink in it and it's started to crack. How can I unkink it and fix the crack? Maybe some black sealant?

Tried black sealant and it appears to be filling the small crack. Now how can I get the kink out? Also check out my manual thread.
