Yes, barcoboy, got the link yesterday by P. Lizotte (a member on this forum known as buzywoman) but, hey, thanks anyway!
I've contacted them and got an answer saying that the machine leaks a little bit. I think the little problem might be solved however. I replied that I am interested by their machine anyway and now am waiting for an answer (I wasn't home on friday).
By what I can see on the picture it looks quite a lot like the 0610 model (same as the one I've had the luck to find early in July---my very first washer, whoah!)

Of course I plan to buy it and, yes, I could pick it up since it is located ''next door'' (makes things considerably more simple). I'll keep yopu posted...

I believe that the "bending" is a result of the rusting that can be seen on the picture - I have a Hoover single tub which shows the same issues. i expect that if the rusting is cleaned back it should be possible to push back the top trim to its proper position

Al, you're right that once the rusted metal has been 'cleaned', the gasket should normally be easy to put back to its proper position. At least, in theory.
barcoboy, I've just received a call from the seller minutes ago and am happy to say that I have arranged for a visit tomorrow (monday, 26th) to the owner of the washer and dryer (sadly I cannot buy both items coz I live alongside five washing machines and six vacuum cleaners in a cramped appartment! Geezz, that Hoover will be my sixth twin tub washer since July!

SIX? Wow... and I thought I was bad because I only wanted one. 
Well, if you do buy this one and someday decide you don't have room for it, I would be happy to buy it from you, as I think now that this was the model that my good friend of the family had and the model I should have been looking for since day one. (Originally thought the one I wanted was the 0510 or 0511, but the drain hose was definitely out the back.)

I, possibly, will have a buyer soon for my Hoover 0632 (namely the Rinse-O-Matic). Other than that, the one I've just found I'm not sure about it: If it still works, or need some replacement part, etc. According to the girl who sells the machine it is supposed to have some water leaks and will certainly need repair. I will check before buying. Not sure for now if I'll keep that one for my 'collection follies' or, eventually, get rid of it. My first Hoover I cannot sell, and the recent ones (0510 U.S. and 0611 CAN) are not working properly so those are just pieces of art not quite possible for washday use. If I stumble across a 'good working' 0610 (or 0611) model, rest assured that I will let you know on this forum. The odds are not against you to find one of those vintage babies, sooner or later (I mean a fully working machine, in very good if not great condition). The best is to check Kijiji or LesPac, or even Craigslist, on a daily basis. These are the best weapons in the quest for the Holy Grail of washing machines. Remember the good use of key words. One thing that worked fine for me is when I type these words in the Google search box: laveuse essoreuse quebec (or) laveuse portative quebec (or) laveuse hoover...
Yep, I am checking on LesPAC and especially Kijiji, as it mails me search results every morning. I didn't think Craigslist was very popular in Quebec, but I guess I should try there too, in case there's something just across the border. I do use the same search terms, and also add "Hoovermatic" as well.
Now that my 0519 is running, I really don't need to get another twin tub, or at least one that is in fully working condition. It would just be nice to have the 610/611 "just to have it". Of course a fully working one would be best, but I'd take one that looked nice even if it wasn't fully working.

your 0519 is a very nice piece, indeed. A big luck that you found such a model at a very low price. I wish you can locate a 0610-11 sooner or later; I am checking it out for you as well.
I just come back from the girl's home with that Hoover pictured above. Now paid for and reserved. I will have to return chez elle (probably by tomorrow afternoon) to pick up the washer and, then, bring it to my appartment. I asked her where did she find that Hoover in the first place. She said that she located the twinnie through the Internet a few years back. But now, as it no longer suits her needs, she has decided to get rid of it. She did need a larger washing machine only for practical purposes. The dryer she sells is a very clean Inglis (portable-type model), but I have no room for it so leave it to anyone else interested. Nice people, by the way, the relatively young woman with her mother, a young baby and a cool long-haired dog which looks like some sort of teddy bear (the sort of dog we appropriately call a 'gentil toutou').
As I expected, the washer is in pretty good shape but will obviously need repair. I do not plan to re-sell it for the moment, at least not right now. I will have to do some work on it, notably where the gasket is seriously bent due to the presence of rust. I will have to use some amount of silicone rubber at the pump and under the spin tub. Surprise: Inside the tubs there I found a spin mat and a couple of fill hoses in almost pristine condition. Cool! :}

Fill hose
That's one thing that I need to find for my washer. Mine came with a "custom" fill hose that someone had made. It has the correct fitting to plug into the coupling on top of the washer that goes to the spigot, but the other end has a Y connector on it, two short pieces of hose, and regular faucet connectors which screw onto normal washer hot/cold taps. Also, all of the pieces of hose are green garden hose and not real washing machine hoses. I need to find or make something that I can fit over my kitchen sink faucet. Probably a larger diameter short piece of hose (piece of drain hose maybe?), a reducer, some black washing machine fill hose, and a couple of clamps would do the trick.

Perhaps you would just have to adjust the end connector to adapt to your machine (or, like I have done, cut one end of the hose to simply get the 'bare hose', without connector, and then be able to fit something with it--you'll see).
Brand: Aqua Dynamic; 8-Feet hose; high pressure, cold or hot water, specially made for all type of washing machines; comes with a rubber washer and metal adapter to connect to any faucet. Price (total, ea.): $8,00

Not sure what you're saying, but I went and looked at Rona's site, and all I see in the Aqua Dynamic brand is the regular washing machine hoses. I have lots of those, but that's not what I'm looking for. Take a look at the linked Ebay auction below. I need something like this with a big rubber end that I can just slip over the end of my kitchen faucet.

Oh, I see; no, I don't have any of those but remember my mom had exactly that kind of inlet hose when I was a kid. They were typical of Hoover at one time. I imagine you could order one on eBay? Perhaps that would be the best place to look for as, to my knowledge, these fill hoses are somewhat more difficult to find this side of the Atlantic.

A quick inspection reveals that the washer will need repair of some sorts.
There are only A FEW scratches to the original enamel paint (outer shell)
Other than that, the top blue control panel is nearly pristine---like new!!
However, she will need a HUGE cleanup---it is soooo dirty as to be scary!
Plugged the unit, turned it up and...everything works fine! A happy owner
btw, the gray top trim (gasket) problem is fixed, that is: back into place!
