craigslist blunders
We should keep a list of Craigslist and FB Marketplace blunders. Just a few that have stuck in my mind:
"Ringer" for Wringer washer (I guess they are thinking of playing horseshoes)
"Dishwasher on wheels" and "Rolling dishwasher" for portable dishwasher (at least they are descriptive)
"Wooden stereo," "wood stereo" and "record player in a box" for console stereo (got to give them credit for trying, ha)

I just saw "Amada" this morning listed as the brand for a refrigerator on FB Marketplace. I have actually seen Amana listed as "Amanda" a couple of times in the past, as well.

Had a ditsy female friend who was living with her mother in 1993 and had just bought a new Amana refrigerator tell me rather proudly that she got an "Am-inn-a"
