One of the joys of a hotel stay? A stealthy, early morning perusal of the guest laundry, of course!

The score so far: Speed Queen/Huebsch 2; other brands 0

There's a lot of Speed Queen stuffed into this Minneapolis hotel's phone booth-sized guest laundry.

Electronic control swag on this one. The four pads: Normal Hot; Normal Warm; Perm Press Warm; Delicate Cold

"Perusal of the guest laundry, of course! "

Frigilux, that's so funny. I wonder how many of us here--probably everyone--does the same thing. And then so-called normal people wonder and ask: " Where the hell you running off to?

We just got here ! "

And we say: "To check out the guest laundry room, of course-- what else would I be doing? You mean you don't care about the brand or the type of machine they have in the laundry?  Are you for real?"

Have seen a platoon of free (no charge--start switch, instead) dark porcelain SQ's in a large condo complex in Fort Lauderdale, and the Heubsch version at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz for the staff,  with charge boxes; the guests get Neptunes.  Used them  all. What a ball!

Have fun! Are you there doing music?

Now if you were going to use the top loader, would you clean off that nasty agitator cap for them?  (laughs)

Preference...

First of all, GUILTY! I admit I have a problem of needing to know what is being used in the laundry of any business that might have it.

Second, I kinda prefer the flat top agitator cap to the softener dispenser.

mickeyd-- Fortunately, I'm on my own, so there's no one to question my guest laundry curiosity, LOL. I'm here on double duty: Playing keyboards for the soundtrack of a friend's film project, and working at a forensic speech tournament. And the answer is definitely 'yes': Were I to wash a load of laundry, I'd definitely clean the cap! In fact, I opened the door to the front-loader to let it air out after I took the photo. It's all part of the AW Scout Pledge, right?

Malcolm-- I like the flat agitator cap as well. Is the one in the photo above meant to hold a softener dispenser? By the way...I was at a Super Target a few minutes ago and saw those nifty little bottles of Tide for $2.99 each. Was tempted, but decided not to.
