HOTPOINT 1969

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

While I guess technically that Hotpoint's Jet Spray Shower in the front top corner could be called a part of the wash system because it sprayed water over the dishes and played a part in flushing food soil away, it was the water inlet by which the machine filled, so it was not a full time spray and would be a hell of a poorly designed top spray if it were part of the recirculating system.

Without an adjustable top rack, Hotpoint dishwashers like these had so little clearance between the rack and the top of the tank that even normal-sized drinking glasses would only fit in the extreme outside edges of the rack.

I am loving all the brochures that members have been scanning the past week or two.  Thanks, David!  I don't know that I've ever seen a Hotpoint dishwasher of this particular vintage.

Just an idea:  Would it be possible to set up an area for brochures the way we have one for videos?  All of these awesome brochures need to be together so they can be enjoyed long after the threads they're in disappear.
