How old is my KitchenAid mixer?

This mixer of mine is either really old or really beat up. Here is the model and serial. I've searched for a real resource on this and have come up with Hunker.com BS.

I think your KSM90 isn't likely much older than 1990.  These were the "Ultra Power" tilt-head models and had a red & silver scheme on the band.

The "C" equals 1993; the "38" equals the 38th week. So, it was manufactured on the 3rd week of September, 1993. (The "W" refers to the Greenville, Ohio Whirlpool factory).
