I just posted a rare book to the Ephemera Library from 1957 called How to Repair Appliances. It is chock full of pictures and information of vintage washing machines and other vintage 1950's major and small appliances if anyone would like a copy.

The first picture looks like one of the original Waste King machines with that odd lower rack configuration. There is even a picture of the GE 30". I think that was called the Empress wasn't it?</span>

I have always been intimidated by them and afraid to open them for fear I'll never get them back together.</span>
