how would you see this ge washing machine with the filter flo system?
how would you see this modern ge but with the filter flo system of vintage machines?

I would see it with a second pump, flume and pan on top of the agitator post.
But given the modern consumer, and the fact the pump would have to be big and powerful (cost + energy) GE would probably just have a filter tray in the tub rim and use the clothes being showered with water as a selling point.
I wish they had a filter flo washer on the market.

I fully agree with you this date back from a vaction to disney with my mom back in 1998 after the big ice storm went to disney in orlando florida rented a vacation house it had a ge filter flo washer non mini basket model but i can say its my dream washer of course i would go with an eaton viking filter flo harvest gold side lid opening

Oh! That is a very featured machine! Any up close pics of the control panel?
That machine sounds majestic, and of course its moving water! You were so lucky to have this at the rental house. 10 years latter it probably would have been the worst washer which could ever have existed ie the post filter flo GEs.
I hope you find your dream machine, or at least something like this. Remember, it does not have to be even TOL or MOL- as long as its got the filter flo (ultra BOL GEs didn't have it) and ramp agi you've got everything you need. Also, in many of these FF washers the low speed just stops working. So a single speed model is technically no different.

I would have a secondary induction motor driven pump with water being shot into the pan with such powerful jets that run during agitation.

That would be ideal, and reversing it for the drain would maximize assets.

GE could've made their own version of the direct drive washer in a filter-flo format similar to whirlpool.

You know, I just saw a video where a GE Spacemaker washer was made by Whirlpool.
I think it would have been far more humane, sparing the innocence of many people if GE simply let Whirlpool make washers for them with feature and cosmetic inputs from GE.
The WP direct drive washer could have been outfitted with a 3 port pump with a hose run up to the 5 oclock or 7 oclock position with a molded flume in the tub cover that can water fall into a filter pan on top of a straight vane agitator.
Continuous cool down spray rinse, splash gasket, front service access, those well known plastic knobs, GE control panel font, ect would have made for the best of both worlds.

They could do it...
I've seen both Kenmore and SQ successfully do it with their classic top load washing machines, if they could do it, GE could do it as well. Though I'm not sure if it'd look exactly like the one in your first post, maybe touch it up to make it look more classic and boom, you'd have an old school machine that fits in the modern day.
