Huge fire at GE's Louisville appliance factory

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Well, from the other thread in the green forum, it sounds like it's a building that GE has leased out since 2005 to suppliers. The thick black smoke is said to be from plastics stored inside. Burning plastic fumes are awful. The supplier said to be Derby Industries. I checked Google and it's Derby Supply Chain Solutions, which stores and assembles and distributes products for other companies (GE perhaps one of them).

Interesting that Electrolux is scheduled to take over the GE Appliance Division later this year. Don't know if this fire will affect that acquisition. Might need a price adjustment.
