Jon, this machine is exactly like your FringeFrigidaire under the control panel except for the agitator (it has the regular space capsule agitator!).
I fixed the timer last night. It worked but the fill period was not delayed if you selected "normal" or "light" soil levels. It was an easy fix, just required to bend a tab in the timer (and removing the timer which took a bit longer...). I like the way you can remove the dial to adjust the pointer on this machine, the dial is different on the '65.
There seems to be a date code on the timer that dates it to January of 1970 (1 70). The timer dial shows "WCIK, WCIRK and WCIAK" so it's a 1966 dial that was used on these later machines... Most of the screws are Robertson rather than Phillips. I guess the lid has been replaced as it is blue-gray underneath and it doesn't have the usual rust under the rubber gasket and the tub is also blue.
