I see the stove. Where's the oven?

I saw this O'Keefe and Merritt "combo" on Craigslist, and wondered--where's the oven?  Isn't that what the control underneath is for?

Missing oven

Looks to me that they took 4 shots of the cooktop (looks pretty good in the pictures) but did not post any of the wall oven that had to go with it. I would guess the big round knob on the front is a minute timer maybe?

I've seen other variations on the O & M chromed vent intended for installation under a cooktop, but this is the first with a built in timer. My favorite by far has a lovely "floating vee" in the middle along with an O & M crest.

That's a pretty cooktop, in a pretty kitchen. How much for the whole house?

They must have made that cooktop for a long time as a friend of ours has a house that was built in 1968 that has that exact same cooktop. I like the way the burners are angled. In their house the wall oven was on the other side of the kitchen on another wall.

This cooktop dates to sometime after 1959, as it is in Shaded Coppertone. That color was introduced by Frigidaire (Aztec Copper) at that time.

The Western Holly gas cooktop that was in a 1955 home we rented had similarly angled burners, but it lacked the attractiveness of the O&M.
