How do identify the date of my washer? Is there like a serial number calculator?

often the date of production will be embedded in the serial
number,otherwise can look for date codes on components(motor
switces,etc),a casting date on the transmission case etc.

Every manufacturer uses a date coding syntax in the serial number and/or model number. The serial number tells the actual manufacture date. The model number is the date put on the market, which may not reflect the manufacture date.
